Thorough cleaning with the Kärcher steam cleaner eliminates up to 99.999 % of viruses1 and 99.99 % of all common household bacteria2 on standard household hard surfaces. With a wide range of accessories, tiles, hobs, extractor hoods and even the smallest crevices are optimally cleaned - whether lightly or stubbornly soiled. The EasyFix floor nozzle with flexible joint enables ergonomic working. And the lamella technology enables perfect cleaning results. The floor cloth can be conveniently attached to the floor nozzle and removed without coming into contact with dirt. The VapoHydro function removes stubborn dirt even more easily by adding hot water. 1 When spot cleaning with the Kärcher steam cleaner, i.e. a steaming time of 30 seconds at maximum steam level with direct contact with the surface to be cleaned, 99.999 % of enveloped viruses, such as influenza viruses (with the exception of the hepatitis B virus), can be removed from standard household, smooth hard surfaces (test germ: modified vaccinia virus Ankara).
2 When cleaning at a cleaning speed of 30 cm/s at maximum steam level and in direct contact with the surface to be cleaned, 99.99 % of all common household bacteria on common household, smooth hard surfaces are killed (test germ: Enterococcus hirae).
